Jakkin/Jarron

Djrak(/JRAHK/) is the origin-world of this strange, though very earth-like species. Long ago, 'Jakkin' became a word referring to the people as a whole, and therefore this became the name they used after taking to the stars. The Jakkin were, however, a cold and logical people, having invented a device that removes these processes from their equivalent of the brain(The emotionlessness could be kept afterwards by regular sleep and relaxation protocol, or by forcing the individual under the devices effects once again). However, a group of people began voicing concerns, or dissatisfaction with the use of this, as it was used on officers, leaders, and had begun to be used on civilians. When the government tried to silence these people, they instead banded together under a leader, named Jarro. These people called themselves the Jarro Nabe(Jakkin for 'Jarro Sect'). After amassing near a quarter the population of the Jakkin Aristocracy, the Jarro Nabe left the planet and settled on a planet they named Jarro after their leader. Not wanting to be associated with the Jakkin, they used "Jarro Nabe" as a sort of species name, which was shortened to Jarro'N, and eventually became simplified as Jarron. The Jarron, simply wanting peace and protection, joined the Alliance, while the Jakkin went on to form the Galactic Domination Coalition(Later the Galactic Dominion Coalition; which also included the Pisadaz) to attack the Alliance. In recent years, the GDC has become much less of a threat, and prefers to keep to themselves.

While superficially dinosaurian in appearance, they are unique in their biology. The first thing many notice is their three jaws. The upper jaw has a single large "tooth" in the front, like a beak, and 4 smaller teeth behind it. The two lower jaws have a single, long tusk each. The eyes are strange as well. The yellow regions are photoreceptors(that can barely see yellow, since that is the color they reflect). The photoreceptors can be allocated to different parts of the eye, which allows them to focus on multiple objects up to 400 feet away. The hands and feet are both webbed(with the posterior-middle finger being webbed only to the front-inner finger). Of course, the tail splits into two close to behind the tail. The purpose of the half-rings on the hands and feet is more than one - it senses chemicals(smell), air-flow, and temperature.
