Remlan

A species even older than the Kharachians, but this remake is newer. And I LOVE it personally ^^

The Remlans are an incredible race with a rich culture and history from planet Remlai. They are one of the founding members of the Universal Alliance Influence, and the first fairly large race(in terms of area of stellar control...they are in fact quite short...) to join the Alliance, although now they are among the top three most powerful, advanced, and influential races in the Alliance, alongside the Parisae and the Reptilinod.

It is unknown how, but Remlans have a natural ability that can be focused with training, to manipulate dark matter and dark energy push grab, pull, and push objects. Again, it is unknown how this is possible. It is not through naturally generated EM fields, as was originally theorized. That idea was refuted by the well-known fact that Dark Matter and Dark Energy do not interact with the EM spectrum in any way. Remlan scientists are constantly attempting to uncover the basis for their own abilities.

Another natural ability the Remlans have is shapeshifting, albeit limited. Besides their normal form, the Remlans can manifest themselves as any of three creatures, known as Remlan Biomorphs I, II, and III. One is venomous, another breaths smoke, and another breaths fire.

During a recent genetic campaign, they were also granted permission to experiment with psionic channelling capabilities. They were successful, and now all Remlans with the new genetic formula have the ability to blast a target with large amount of pure psionic energy, one of the most devastating energies known to the universe.
