Remlan starship - Arcehyl class

The Arcehyl(/ar-KAEL/) class cruiser is a powerhouse. It's top part is separable(And is called the Arcehyl Chariot, while the other part is the Stardrive section), with it's own sublight engines and blasters. It was built as an enhanced version of the Arc'eylil class cruiser during the Kqo'rrian invasion, and it held its own. It's now a staple of the Alliance fleet, second only to A.S.T.R.O.S. vessels themselves.

The Stardrive section carries two ports containing several lounge/observatory decks. Behind and above these, the Stardrive's blaster tilt upward to meet the down-facing Chariot blasters. The charged particles that give the ship thrust at sublight speeds are funnels out of the engines by magnetic coils, that constrict them and make the thrust stronger. The top of the Stardrive section boasts a huge field emitter, which pumps out powerful shielding, and just above that is magnetic particle collector to get extra fuel for the engine core. And at the back of the tail the warp nacelle ends, which is a classic alcubierre warp drive.
